vesafb vs hisax

Recently I installed on my parents computer a new monitor. So I thought of using vesafb…
2 weeks later I came back, tried to get online — but it didn’t work anymore!
It took me half a day to figure out:
with activated vesafb on the kernel commandline the hisax driver, mainly hisax_fcpcipnp doesn’t got any interrupts anymore [...]
